Personality:	Unlike his sibling Nolnarath (whom everyone calls "Ambri" and who also resides at Splintyr), Jagalanth is calm and reserved. His bondmate, Kaitsuburi, sometimes likes to tease him by telling him he should be "more like actual confetti" - in other words, chaotic! But that's not Jags' style. He has a job - guarding and protecting Kaitsu's ship, the Kegawa Maru, during its patrols and cargo runs - and he takes that job very seriously. When he isn't flying over the ship on "patrol", he is either curled up on the stern - ready to defend the ship at a moment's notice - or (occasionally) clinging to one of the ship's masts and keeping an eye on the waters nearby for any hint of a threat. He enjoys spending time with Kaitsu and discussing the intricacies of running a ship. He is also more than happy for Kaitsu to saddle him up while the ship is in drydock for repairs/maintenance - after all, what better way to get an intimate, up-close view of every inch of a drydocked ship than to fly right up to all of its parts? No one has ever actually witnessed Jags use his firebreathing abilities - he absolutely refuses to use them anywhere near the ship since every inch of it is flammable.
