Appearance/Color/Markings:	Orange-gold fur with black stripes, cream muzzle/belly fur, and blue eyes. She has many scars on her body, including several prominent ones on her face.
Personality:	Kaitsuburi, whose name means "grebe" (like the waterfowl), is brusque without being rude. She always stands strong and firm in her convictions and in her decisions, though she is not too stubborn to admit when she is wrong (as long as someone can provide concrete proof that she is!)

History/Backstory:	Kaitsuburi has a fairly boring "backstory" - no major traumas in her childhood, both of her parents (and all of her siblings) are still alive, and she has good relationships with all of them. No one put undue pressure on her to pursue a certain profession/future (while she had tiger parents, she did not have a LITERAL "Tiger Mother/Father", if you know what I mean) and she was able to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a pirate captain. Okay, okay, so she's not actually a PIRATE - Lakota is not exactly a saint, but she doesn't condone literal acts of piracy in the waters around the Splintyr compound. So, Kaitsu may not be a literal pirate, but she is a ship captain. Her ship, a 2 masted gaff schooner with square topsails called the Kegawa Maru, is 90 feet long and doubles as both a cargo and patrol ship, depending on the current needs of the Splintyr compound. Kaitsu has living quarters in the residential sector of Splintyr, but she prefers to be on the sea. She generally only lives in her quarters while the Kegawa Maru is undergoing repairs, maintenance, or cargo loading/unloading. Her bond, Jagalanth, is a fairly large dragon at 25' long and 12' tall, but he is content to curl up on the ship's stern and chill when he isn't flying overhead to assist with patrols/guarding the ship during cargo runs. He is quite careful to never use his firebreathing ability anywhere near the ship.
