Physical Description:	Blair is a tall feline with a lithe - but muscular - build. He is generally solemn, serious, and reserved, and it is somewhat of a "myth"/running joke that he has never been seen to smile. He keeps himself well-groomed and his clothing/armor is always spotless. Some of his fellow security personnel claim to see a great deal of pain in his vividly green eyes, but few have gotten close enough to Blair - both literally and figuratively - to corroborate these claims.

Personality:	Blair is the picture-perfect definition of the word "reserved". He is self-restrained in all ways, and rarely shows flashes of any emotion - be it positive or negative. He is seemingly impossible to anger and will simply walk away from situations where someone is purposefully trying to harass him into open hostility. While he is not introverted to the point of being asocial and will spend time with his co-workers and neighbors, he rarely speaks unless spoken to and never volunteers subjects or stories on his own. He is devoted to his job as part of Splintyr's security force (specifically, he is a Gate guard) and will not back down from any situation, no matter how dangerous or volatile it may be. However, he goes about his job impassively, and will not yell or shout or act rashly or harshly, even when he is making an arrest or helping to restrain an unruly dragon or other creature.
Abilities:	»Currently unknown; by his lineage alone, Blair should have at least some magical abilities, but he has never spoken nof them or displayed them, if they do actually exist.
History/Backstory:	It's no secret that Blair comes from an aristocratic family of noble origins. No one is exactly certain which branch of the rem ir Le Guin family he springs from, but he is definitely literal nobility. His entire family is secretive and rarely strides into public view the way that some other noble families on Sitheil Tirean do, so Blair's childhood is a mystery. There are rumors that Blair is the offspring of the family's current baron - which would make him at least in line for succession, if not the actual first-in-line heir. The only fact that is known for sure about Blair's childhood/youth is that he was trained in athletics and physical combat from a very young age, something that is not uncommon for the children of nobility. Blair might have passed his entire life out of sight of anyone except his family members. However, when Blair was 20, something occurred at the rem ir Le Guin estate that no one - least of all Blair himself - has ever spoken of, even though its occurrence is absolute fact. While there are several rumors, the most popular is that Blair fell in love with someone he should not have fallen in love with - most likely someone who was already betrothed to another member of his family - and that they also fell in love with him. No one is certain how "far" things went - or if events even went anywhere past the emotional phase. Whatever the event was, it resulted in Blair leaving the rem ir Le Guin estate and its lands permanently. No one knows if he left of his own accord, willingly, or if he was exiled. He did not pass Go, he did not collect $200, but instead made his way directly to Splintyr and its sprawling caverns. He presented himself to the chief of Splintyr's martial/policing force and asked for a job. The chief required Blair to display either his level of combat experience or at least his athleticism. Blair displayed both in a "no-kill, no-permanent-harm" duel with the chief, a bout that immediately achieved legendary status in the caverns. Although there were only roughly a dozen other security personnel actually present to watch the match, within a week, several hundred residents of Splintyr claimed to have been present in the arena to watch Blair trounce the security chief in the most elegant, dancelike combat that any of them had ever seen. Either way, Blair got a job guarding the Gates, the magical portals that led to - and from - other worlds. He did his job well and without complaint. In the 10 years since, the security chief offered Blair promotions several times, all of which Blair refused. The few people who know Blair as well as Blair lets himself be known have said that it seems like Blair is in a sort of stasis, a holding-pattern, waiting for something - or perhaps someone - that only he knows about.
